There are several ways to get involved with the Wabamun Watershed Management Council as we seek to maintain the health of the lake.

Become A General Member

General Membership is free and entitles an individual to receive information about the lake and its watershed, attend WWMC meetings, vote at the WWMC AGM and Special Meetings, and run for a WWMC board position. Go to General Membership for more information.

Become A Corporate Member

A company or organization that agrees to partner with the WWMC in achieving the Council's goals may become a Corporate Member for a fee of $100 or more per year. In return, corporate members will have their names and logos placed on the WWMC website (see below), newsletters and at events. Go to Corporate Membership for more information about our Gold, Silver and Bronze levels of membership.

Be An Individual Donor

The WWMC is a CRA-registered charity. Funds donated go directly to the work of council. With permission, all WWMC donors are acknowledged on the Donors List (below), in our newsletters and at times, on other WWMC promotional materials. Go to Donate for more information and make a donation.

Be A Volunteer

You can volunteer some of your time to help the WWMC do its research, events and get the word out. If you are interested in being a WWMC volunteer, please let us know at info@wwmc.ca.

Board Members

The nine voting members of the Board of Directors are elected from the General Membership, representing a cross-section of watershed users. Elections for vacant positions are held at each Annual General Meeting in October. If you are interested in being a member of the board, please send a message to info@wwmc.ca.
