General Membership

Any resident of Alberta is eligible to become a General Member of the Wabamun Watershed Management Council (WWMC). Members of the WWMC make a difference by:

  • Learning lake and watershed stewardship best practices, helping ensure the sustainable health of Wabamun Lake and its watershed.

  • Helping the WWMC understand lake and watershed issues.

  • Sharing information about the lake and watershed with their community and other stakeholders.

  • Working with the WWMC on projects to sustain the lake watershed.

Membership is free, is good for one year (must be renewed by June 30 of each year) and entitles you to the following:

  • Receive Lakescape, the WWMC quarterly newsletter.

  • Receive timely updates about what is happening on the lake, watershed and with the WWMC.

  • Attend WWMC meetings.

  • Vote at the WWMC Annual General Meeting in October, and at Special Meetings.

  • Run for a position on the Board of Directors.

Please keep in mind that by filling out this membership application you agree with the vision and mission of the Wabamun Watershed Management Council and consent to receiving newsletters and other information about the watershed and the WWMC.

Memberships obtained through use of this form are valid until June 30, 2025.
